I’m Sick. Boo.

This is me.

While I’m out of commission, don’t forget to enter my scary story contest—I’ve already had some entries come in, and they’ve been fun to read!

I’ve also been freaking out about all the writing and editing I’m NOT getting done as I lie on the couch and sleep . . . and watch tons of TV.  But I can’t really do much else, so I guess there’s no point in freaking out.  Freaking out requires too much effort.

Are you getting work done this week at least??

  1. Oh noes! MAJOR BOO! Do you want me to fedex you some soup? It might not make it to you as hot as when I make it…and it might be the in-can kind…but I’ll gladly do it if you’re in the mood for some hot chickeny liquid. (Huh. Doesn’t sound too appealing, on second thought.)

Ooh! I know! Hot Toddy! Bourbon! Hot Tea! Honey! Lemon! It doesn’t taste all that good but it does the trick. And even if it doesn’t, at least you’ll be too intoxicated to care.

    Get better TWITSOM!!!!

  2. The best cure that I found is to just give in and relax.
Give yourself permission to be lazy and take the time to heal and get better. Take care, Sweetie!

  3. Aww, you poor boo-boo! Put on your fuzzy beagle slippers and watch all those Beverly Hillbillies re-runs like you’ve always wanted to. And hot toddies indeed are legitimate medicine. I just came out of Cough-Cough Week myself, and though I’m glad to have left it behind, it did force me to slow down a bit.

    Feel better!

  4. Aw, thanks, you guys – you’re so sweet!! Haven’t tried the hot toddie method yet, but maybe I should.

Been taking it very easy, but it’s driving me somewhat insane. May need to at least put in a half day tomorrow – we’ll see. 🙂
